Welcome to the Skills2succeed website
Skills2succeed started running Part II Police Promotion training courses in 2000. We have grown each year and now run courses all over England and in Northern Ireland training 20-25% of all students going for the exam. We pride ourself on our consistent pass rate which has always been in excess of 94% (97% for the last three years). We believe in direct and honest feedback from our Nationally Qualified Assessors & trainers, and none of our students go away without knowing exactly what they need to do to pass the actual Part II exam. The courses are designed to assist both the student who has very little knowledge about the Police National Part II Examination and the student who already has an insight into the examination.
We have current policing experience to assist with the competency areas relating to Neighbourhood Policing and problem solving.
Our courses fill up word of mouth and we fill up our courses extremely quickly when the results for the Part I exam come out. Our courses in Northern Ireland generally fill up in within two hours and in England we generally have filled up everything within two months.......so dont leave it too late. Read the course content and the feedback and give us a call.
Our courses are quite intense but still very enjoyable. We concentrate on:
- A very simple plan to use during the preparation and assessment phase
- How to manage the time effectively
- Transcribing the competencies into very simple 'useable' toolkits
- Up to date policing experience for lateral thinking
- A look at the Welcome pack
More importantly we give you the chance to practice/be assessed in 25 validated stations* New stations are written every year for both PC-Sgt and Sgt-Insp therefore are both relevant and up to date.
*The stations are written by qualified writers, however it is impossible for the stations to be validated to the same extent as the National Examination. The stations reflect, as much as possible the type of station you will find in the National Examination.
