Skills2Succeed Ltd - Part II Police Promotion Training

Two Day Crammer Course

Telephone:  01638 751639 or 07734200624        9-7pm  Monday-Friday

The majority of courses run over a Saturday and Sunday, 9-5pm and are held at Police Stations throughout England and Northern Ireland (for PSNI).

Day One of the course covers a very simple and effective plan for assisting you in gathering information for the assessed part of the exam. You will be amazed at how quickly you will pick up the plan and be able to identify all the relevant information in the preparatory information within the specified time.

Then you will be given a system to help you through the assessed stage.  This helps students keep focused and allows for natural style to be displayed whilst providing a safety net in the event of any exam nerves. The system also focuses on time and thoroughness and can be used in every station.

A probing exercise is included to allow students the opportunity to ask the right questions throughout the assessed stations.

Three of the competencies are looked at and explained in simplistic terms, which relate back to the checklist and a 'toolkit' provided to deal with it   In addition, 5 stations are utilised allowing students an opportunity to prepare and be assessed.  We do not expect students to carry out stations in front of all the class, instead we break up into small workable groups,

Day Two . You will have opportunity to prepare for five stations straight off ( mini mock exam) to get you used to exam timings. These stations are up to date incorporating topics that may likely appear in forthcoming exams.

You will carry out 16 stations total on day 2, which gives you plenty of opportunity to fine tune your plans and toolkits.  The 'welcome pack' (Divisonal Profile) is looked at and ideas for utilising the time between the course and the actual exam given out. Personal one to one feedback is given to students and class sizes are kept small to allow this feedback

Trainers are qualified National assessors with a wealth of experience of the Part II exam structure and procedure and have up to date policing experience. All students go away from the course knowing exactly what they need to do to pass the exam. The booklets include twenty five stations which means that most are  covered over the 2-day crammer course leaving five to take away and practice.

You will also have a page of 'Top Tip's'  included in your booklet.

The course receives excellent reviews (see feedback tab).

If organised in force the cost is £200 plus VAT and the organiser is eligible for a reduced or free course(see inforce organiser information tab).
